Growing up, i have always had issues in tidying up the kitchen, but then i realized that anyone can be a neat cook including you!.

Hello welcome back once again, i am going to be sharing with you tips on how you can be a neat cook. Getting excited already? i know you are!

Ever wondered what could happen if you are being told to cook without any preparations?,you feel tensed and so uneasy. You ask yourself these set of questions ,”Oh no!!,i am going to cook, oh well i can cook but what if i get the kitchen messed up, what do i need to do ,what precautions should i take , how do i make use of the kitchen utensils properly?, i don’t want my apron soiled”.

Join me on this journey and i will show you how to be a neat cook

  1. Quit using so many utensils at the same time.
  2. Quit leaving the shelves unkempt.
  3. Wash your spoons immediately after use : In order for you to be a neat cook you need to learn how to wash your spoons and plates after use.

4. Learn to pick up anything that falls on the floor right away.

5. Make use of your chopping board properly .

6. Prepare the items you need before cooking.

7. Start with a neat kitchen.

8. Take out the trash can.

9. Cover your hair when cooking.

10. Ensure pots and spoons are washed properly.

11. Remember to use the table towels at all times .

12. Avoid talking while cooking and avoid spillovers.

HEALTH: COVID 19 safety measures everyone must Follow

It is no doubt that COVID 19 is actually spreading and we all know there have been countless deaths in different countries. While we sit and wait for a vaccine to be released for it. Here are some preventive measures you could carry out to protect yourself during the quarantine

1.Firstly, wash your hands regularly: Make it a part of you. If you feel you forget easily, you could place a timer just to remind yourself you are to wash your hands. Remember the disease or virus is airborne and no one is safe.

Furthermore, get hand sanitizers, you can get them at local stores near you.

2. Keep social and physical distance. There are cases whereby a vehicle can be so clustered and trust me you don’t want to experience that. I advice you to keep the distance. If you are In a cab, I advice you to avoid a full cab or taxi. Avoid crowded places. Don’t forget to go out with your nose mask if you want to stock your houses with food items. Also if you are not getting your fridges stacked with lots of foods and vegetables and fruits, please stay indoors(self quarantine).

3. Visit your doctor immediately when you start noticing cold, dry cough, sore throat, or fever or when your health deteriorate. Get tested and checked, that’s the only way you can get a full assurance of your health.

4. Avoid putting your hands in your mouth, eyes and nose. Sometimes, out of excess work or tiredness we might clean up sweats from our faces with our bare hands, I advice you get tissues or handkerchief. Thrash after use.

6. Lastly, I would also say “get fruits that can boost your immune system”. Stay strong people and stay safe. We are going to get through this. I love you all. Thanks for reading. Do well to drop your questions.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO KEEP FIT EVERYDAY?

Good day readers, in my previous article i wrote on how you can make curry/chicken sauce and i hope you all tried it out. I’ve got a little opinion to share to you all on how you can keep fit everyday. Every single day, we eat and consume a lot of calories and go about our  daily lives without knowing this has effects on our body and the way we start our day. If you want to start your day to feel healthy and great maybe in your home, before going to work. Here are some little tips i have for you:

  • Exercise daily: You need to learn how to exercise daily for at least an hour.  You could do some cardio and if you have a treadmill at home, this is just perfect if you don’t want to go out.

       

                                
  • Eat the right food and the right portion of meals. you don’t want to feel all bloated and heavy at work or at home.

  • Drop the sugar,you need to learn how to keep track of calories and food intake per day and concentrate on your diet. Cook good food more often so you wont end up buying Junks. Trust me, they built up belly fats quickly.

        

                     

 

                        

  • Be sure to get more sleep: Sometimes work can be so stressful or academic load can be quite heavy on us. Always remember that you are a human and you need rest. Health is much more important than wealth. i am not saying that you should quit but rest for a while.

       
           

                        
  • Relieve stress either through yoga. find ways to decompress or blow off stream. This is where your hobby or should i say passion comes into play. Some persons play basketball or soccer, running etc.

               

  • Sit less and move more; Scientifically proven, if your job demands or involves you sitting for 90% of your  workday, you could be damaging your health indirectly. According to Mayo clinic, sitting too much increases your risk for a number of disease.

      

  • Drink enough water: Most people find it so hard to drink a lot of water. When you drink less water, it could actually results to mental and physical fatigue. Do you also know that drinking a lot of water can help you lose weight?. Yes there are more but that’s all for now.

    MAKE YOUR CHICKEN SAUCE IN FEW MINUTES

    In my previous blog, I talked about finding your passion and afterwards, what’s next?. Today I am going to take you on one of the things I love most (cooking). Humans love good food and also I will be listing out different recipes for you to try out.  We all know the regular chicken sauce. It is best prepared with boneless chicken, however you can boil your whole chicken and then take out the bones if you can’t find chicken breast at the market.
     Here are the ingredients you can use to make your delicious curry/chicken sauce

    Ingredients for chicken curry sauce

    1kg of chicken
    • 1 cup carrots, chopped
    • ½ cup peas

    • 1 cup green beans
    • 2 medium onions
    • 2 medium tomatoes
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tables spoon thyme
    • 1 ½ tables spoon curry powder
    • 3 scotch bonnets peppers
    • 3 stock chicken tock cubes
    • 2 tablespoons corn starch
    • 2 green bell peppers
    • 2 red bell peppers

    •Irish potatoes 1kg(optional) and salt to taste

    Steps to cook our delicious curry sauce 
    1.Rinse carrots, green beans, bell peppers and onions, and Irish potatoes(optional)

    2.slice/chop them into nice shapes and set aside, it may be in cubic form or very long. Just do it the way you like it.😊

    3. Rinse chicken into a wide pot, season it with curry, thyme, ½ parts of onion, pepper, garlic and salt.

    4.Add water to slightly cover the chicken and place on high heat to cook until tender
    5. While the chicken is cooking, dissolve the corn flour with a little water (you want it runny like custard) and set aside.

    6. Once the chicken is cooked, separate it from the broth and cut into smaller pieces, (you can try pulling the flesh from the bones if you don’t like it with bones).

    7. Place a pan on heat, add 3 tablespoons of cooking oil to it and add onions, garlic and sauté for 30 seconds or until fragrant.

    8. Add the chopped tomatoes and sir-fry for 2minutes until soft, add the chopped carrots, green beans and cook for 2 minutes.

    9. Add the bell peppers, green peas and stir-fry until the vegetables are all soft. Season the veggies with 1 stock cube, salt, thyme and 1 teaspoon of curry powder and stir the content properly to combine.
    10.Leave the content to cook for few minutes on medium heat, bring the chicken stock into it, you can increase it with water if your stock is small and bring to a boil.

    11.Return the cooked chicken to the sauce and add the dissolved corn flour to the content and stir well, the sauce will begin to thicken as it boils. Lower the heat and leave it to simmer slowly while you serve.

    12. Chicken curry sauce is excellent with white rice you can serve it as you like.

    AFTER PASSION, WHATS NEXT?

    In my previous blog, I wrote about how you can find your passion. I believe you have found your passion or if you’ve not, kindly read on my previous blog to discover your passion. Always remember that you are extremely unique the way you are and every human is born with a great passion.

    We have two types of passion and these are: obsession and harmonious passion.
    Have you ever had this uncontrollable urge to be involved in an activity and sometimes it might not lead to something favourable, this is obsession passion. There are also times when you do a particular thing or work because you love it in a manageable and controllable way, we call this harmonious passion. Sometimes it could be painting, public speaking, swimming,gardening,animals, travel,writing, drawing, singing, blogging, creating good videos, cooking, football, making people’s hair, being a health coach/fitness coach etc.
    Every single person has a particular area they are passionate about, what are you passionate about?. I must say, you can turn your passion into profits, you can also find your passion, get a steady income, have a plan.

    It is true that some people hear a calling and indeed can follow their passion. They’re in the minority, and they don’t need to hear the “Follow your passion” advice, they’re doing it anyway and never ask themselves the “What should I do with my life?” questions that most of us struggle with in regular intervals. Steve Jobs was one of those people.

    The positive counterpoint to Jobsian narcissism (simply assuming that your recipe can be universalized, not acknowledging that most people don’t have a passion to follow when they’re starting out) is Ben Horowitz’ far less well-known Commencement speech in which he says, at the 10:50 mark:

     I am passionate about meal and its recipes (cooking), passionate about empowering others, passionate about health and fitness, ambition and career pursuing,dancing, passionate about the internet and what it offers.

    PASSION AND AMBITION. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW?

    Are you feeling down or depressed not knowing what you are passionate about?. When you take a look at your friends, you feel you are lonely because you don’t have something you love or something that intrigues you, motivates you or makes you happy.

    Sometimes finding our passion can 
    be hectic and tiring, you get stucked 
    up not discovering your passion early enough. For instance, your passion could be writing, reading novels, cooking/catering, football, hair making, impacting others, presenting, surveying, public speaking, making others happy through comedy and lots more. This blog will help you discover what your passion is and help you juxtapose between ambition and passion. 
    WHAT IS PASSION?
    Passion is what you loving doing. Its an emotion, while ambition is a mindset. 
    “Your passion is what you want to do naturally, not what sounds good or what others want you to do. Passion is the fuel that drives you to get out of bed in the morning; it moves you toward your goals“.
    Ambitions are always laden with conditions. Goals are nothing but conditions that one places on their life.
    What do you need to do to develop or find your passion my dear friends?

    1. Ask yourself these  simple questions. 
    2. Don’t presume that your passion should be your job. 
    3. Work out what you hate doing. 
    4. Find the things you are mediocre at. 
    5. Forget the ‘Eureka!’ 
    6. Remember what you loved doing as a child. 
    7.Create something brand new.

    Hi there, I am CeeGee. I am going to be talking about personal development.

    Personal development has to with activities that improve awareness and identity. It also develops talents and potentials, build human capital and facilitate employability, enhance the quality of life and contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations. Personal development allows you to be proactive and effective in a way regardless of what life might bring to you. 

       Personal development also comes with self awareness, discovering who you really are, your talents, challenges, strength, weaknesses and so on. True fulfilment can never come from bumping or chasing other people dreams. Be yourself. You are unique in anything you do.
    You can develop your mind through good books, good tapes, magazines, bulletin, having a good mentor and lastly a personal advice. Ask yourself these sets of questions to know what you really want in life
    1. What is my passion?
    2. What do I love doing?
    3. Am I a sanguine or a melancholy or a choleric or a phlegmatic?
    4. What if I don’t

    know what I want?
    5. What makes me happy?
